SHARK TANK

Shark Tank is one of the most exciting and meaningful projects that our new members work on, honing business acumen alongside value-driven impact.

In groups of two to three, the newbies select, research, and pitch a local nonprofit to the full club. The winning group with the most votes secures a $1000 donation towards their chosen organization.

NEW URM Common application

In collaboration with NIB, TBG, BEACN, and GRC.

Deadline: Thursday, September 4th at 11:59 PM.

We’re so excited about the launch of our new Social Impact Consulting URM Common App, in collaboration with Net Impact at Berkeley, The Berkeley Group, BEACN, and GRC.

If you are an underrepresented student in the business community, feel free to apply to 2 or more of our clubs at once through our Common Application. You must apply to at least two clubs to utilize this process, and will only need to submit this one application.

We hope to expand ease of access to our social impact consulting organizations here on campus through this initiative, and are looking forward to reviewing your application!

The deadline for this common application is Thursday, September 4th at 11:59 PM – any late responses will not be considered.

THE OAKLAND ZOO

180DC organizes a joint social impact volunteering opportunity with The Berkeley Group and BEACN at The Oakland Zoo. We work on eco-restoration with the zoo’s Horticulture Team to remove weeds and collect waste.

THE BERKELEY PROJECT

Every semester, 180DC at Berkeley participates in Berkeley Project Day through The Berkeley Project. We work alongside community members to beautify the city of Berkeley, from cleaning up elementary schools to weeding parks.

DEI PANEL

Our DEI committee hosts an annual panel focused on expanding diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. We invite experts from companies like Google and Salesforce to discuss improving DEI in their organizations.
